Experience as Arbitrator and/or Counsel in Arbitrations
Appeared in numerous ICC, LCIA, ICSID and ad hoc arbitration proceedings, increasingly as arbitrator. Main areas of specialisation are joint ventures/shareholders’ agreements, petrochemicals/oil/gas, aviation/air transportation, satellite and telecommunications, agency and distribution. Currently a Vice-President of the LCIA Court (London) and serving as a Council member on the Board of the ICC Institute of World Business Law (Paris). Also Visiting Professor at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London.
Present Position
Since 1 January 2008: Partner with Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler. Previously a partner with Schellenberg Wittmer.

Various contributions to law journals and legal periodicals, i.e. Anti-Suit Injuctions Issued by Arbitrators; Insolvency in Arbitration (Swiss Law); Testimonies in the contemporary practice: witness statements and cross-examinations; plus co-authored many articles on different aspects of international arbitration.
